Aiden Interrante: Trumpeter, Improviser, Teacher, Composer

Hailing from Ellicott City, MD, Aiden Interrante is a trumpet player with a mind for music as a means for connection. With a distinct approach rooted in the tradition of jazz, he focuses on using music to bring people together. Musically, he is inspired by jazz giants Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Charlie Shavers, Clark Terry, Roy Eldrige, Wynton Marsalis, and many more.

Aiden brings a unique voice to Baltimore’s jazz scene through his involvement in both local and regional ensembles. In 2022, he won the prestigious U.S. Army Blues Solo Competition, earning the opportunity to record and perform with the world-renowned U.S. Army Blues ensemble. He has also had the honor of performing at some of Baltimore’s premier jazz venues, including Keystone Korner, An Die Musik, and The Hargrove.

Aiden is currently studying under maestro Sean Jones, while finishing his bachelor’s degree at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore.
